Estimation of parameters for effective stress analysis to reproduce the liquefaction strength curve and stress path obtained from laboratory tests

Abstract Effective stress analysis using liquefaction parameters is often employed for the numerical of soil liquefaction. However, to best our knowledge, that simultaneously reproduce strength curve and effective path have not been reported date. Herein, we propose a new method estimate model used in analysis: pore pressure curves obtained from laboratory tests are as targets inverse analysis. The results confirmed by could strength, curves, with high accuracy, which was difficult achieve conventional methods.
